Welcome
to our farm! After spending much of our lives in the city we were very fortunate to move to the country
in 2001. Our farm sits in both Taylor and Marion County on 100 acres in rural south central Kentucky.
We
share a lot of labor and farm equipment with my folks who retired and moved out here in 2002.
They also have a farm about 7 miles from ours and raise beef cattle and lots of garden produce.
We also
own another 17+ acres in Taylor County that is for sale (if anyone is interested). Here is the link.. http://www.kentuckyhomes.biz/view.php?id=7389
It's a nice property for a home-site or hunting and we currently take the hay from it. We got 27
Round bales in 2011.
We have quite the menagerie
of animals today, including our more exotic ones like our Emus and llamas. Our primary breeding focus is
on beef cows since it seems like there will always be a market for them. Our "pet" animals are only bred
in numbers that are easily managed and that allows me the time to ensure they all get great homes.
We also have many rescued animals, some stay with us forever and some we adopt out to other homes. It never
ceases to amaze me what I will find next.
We welcome visitors, just make sure to contact us for directions as GPS, mapquest, etc.. will not
get you here.
